Laguneros de la Comarca (LNBP) agreed terms with 29-year old guard Armando Fernandez (188-90). It is actually his comeback to Torreon as he has played here before. Fernandez played last summer at Pioneros de Los Mochis (CIBACOPA). In 21 games he had just 2.9ppg. LNBP will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. The last season Fernandez played at Laguneros. CIBACOPA was a little too high level for him, where in 17 LNBP games he recorded only 1.9ppg.
Fernandez was selected to Mexican Chihuahua Vive All-Star Game back in 2015.
He was a member of Mexican U18 National Team in 2008.
Fernandez has played previously for six other teams: Aaguacateros, Faraones, Venados, Choriceros, Ciudad and Cerveceros.
