Huracanes ink Dominic Woodson, ex Argentino- November 6, 2019
Woodson is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Woodson has played previously professionally in Cyprus (Mapfree Life), Panama (Halcones), PBL (Rochester R.), El Salvador (Halcones and San Salvador) and Nicaragua (Toros). He attended University of Tennessee until 2015 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player. Woodson could be described: Dominic is a true giant, and a throw back post player with a modern twist of athleticism and power. He's incredibly physical, and with his 6'11", 270lb tank of a frame, he's able to muscle up with any big, anywhere. He's got a 7'4" wingspan, and is incredibly athletic. He rebounds and blocks shots at a very high level, has a face up post game, and also uses both hands well to finish with his back to the basket. He has great touch, shoots the mid-range very well, and has tremendous ball skills on top of his shocking quickness for his stature.
