James number one in Mexican LNBP for round 38 (by Interperformances)

American Forward Joel James (208-F-94) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Capitanes, receiving a Interperformances LNBP Player of the Week award for round 38.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 23 rebounds, while his team edged out Libertadores (#7, 12-24) 83-82. Capitanes maintains the 2nd position in their group in Mexican LNBP. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Capitanes will need more victories to improve their 23-12 record. It was one of impressive evenings for James as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Joel James averages this season 11.0ppg and 6.4rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 26-year old Senegalese Mamadou Ndiaye (229-C-93) of Correcaminos. Ndiaye had a very good evening with a double-double of 34 points and 17 rebounds. It was enough for Correcaminos to edge the higher-ranked Lenadores (#4, 21-14) 99-96. Correcaminos' 7th position in East has not changed. 28 lost games are too many comparing to just eight victories Correcaminos managed to get this year. Ndiaye is a newcomer at Correcaminos, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American Aaron Harper (203-SF-81) of Huracanes (#5). Harper got into 30-points club by scoring 41 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds . He was a key player of Huracanes, leading his team to a 95-82 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Plateados (#6, 14-20). Huracanes needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in East. Their record at this point is 18 victories and 17 lost games. Harper has a great season in Mexico. After 31 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.1ppg (2nd best). He also has FGP: 55.5% and 3PT: 43.2%.

10. Miguel Ramirez (186-G-94) of Libertadores - 10 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists
