The captain of Soles de Mexicali was chosen by fans as MVP in the West Zone
Luke Martinez (193-G-90, college: Wyoming, agency: Pro Sports) earned the merit after leading Soles de Mexicali in one of their best seasons and making it clear that they are serious contenders for the title.
Luke Martinez returned to Mexicali at the end of 2017 after passing through Israel and since then he has demonstrated his experience and quality by becoming captain of the soles and one of the best players in the country. in the current season he averaged 13.5 p.p.g, 4.8 r.p.g and 3.5 a.p.g. In addition to the good numbers, Luke added 3 double doubles and during the season he knew how to assume his role in the team and help them in the way he did.
The Mexican-American has had a very good career in which he has been part of the national team and this season seeks to add another championship with the Soles.
