Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (CIBACOPA) agreed on terms with 32-year old American guard Reginald Holmes (193-82kg-87, college: Morgan State). He played last season at Beirut Club in the Lebanese LBL league. In only one game he recorded 9 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist. Holmes also played for Al Ahly in Egyptian league that season where in 5 Africa Basketball League games he was the best scorer with impressive 20.2ppg and averaged 5.8rpg and 2.6spg (in top 5). He also spent pre-season at GS Kymis (C) in the Greek league. In three games he had just 2.0ppg and 1.3rpg. Holmes' team made it to the Egyptian Cup final.

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted All-MEAC Player of the Year and NABC Division I All-District 15 1st Team back in 2010 at his college time.

Holmes is a quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in seven different countries. Holmes tasted life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Africa and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Bulgaria (Beroe), France (Le Mans), Italy, Morocco (AS Sale), Poland (Kotwica), Turkey (Final Spor, Akhisar Bld and Ankara D.S.I.) and NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks).

Holmes attended Morgan State until 2010 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.
