Gigantes de Jalisco (CIBACOPA) landed 32-year old American forward Juan Patillo (203-102kg-88, college: WKU). He played recently at Anibal in the Lebanese LBL league. Last summer Patillo was tested by Saskatchewan (CEBL) in Canadian league where in two games he averaged impressive 16.0ppg and 4.0rpg.

He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.

Patillo is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Patillo has played previously professionally in Finland (Korihait and Vilpas), Germany (BG Goettingen), Israel (Hasharon), Italy, Japan, Korea (Anyang KGC and KT Sonicboom), Turkey and Canada (Moncton Magic and Windsor Express).

He attended Western Kentucky University until 2011 and it is his ninth season in pro basketball.
