Jalisco signs Tyrone White, ex Trouville

Gigantes de Jalisco (CIBACOPA) signed 29-year old American point guard Tyrone White (201-84kg-90, college: CSU Bakersfield). He just played at Trouville in the Uruguayan LUB league. In two games he had very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.0apg, and 1.0spg this season. White also played for CA Platense (La Liga) in Argentinian league where in 6 games he recorded 14.5ppg, 3.8rpg, and 1.0apg. The other team he played that season for was Astros (LNBP). In 36 games he averaged 12.5ppg, 3.4rpg, and 2.4apg.

In 2014 (a year after he left the college) White was drafted by Rio Grande Valley Vipers (D-League) in the third round (50th overall).

He attended California State University Bakersfield until 2013 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others White won the Independent championship title for two years in a row (2012 and 2013). He was also voted USBasket.com All-IBL 2nd Team back in 2014.

White is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Cyprus, Poland, Venezuela (Marinos and Bucaneros), Mexico (Aaguacateros, Fuerza Regia, Garra Canera de Navolato and Mantarrayas), Dominican Republic (Indios de San Francisco) and IBL (Salem S.).
