Hermosillo lands Jordan Brangers- March 8, 2020

Defending champion Rayos de Hermosillo (CIBACOPA) tabbed 25-year old American guard Jordan Brangers (188-95, college: South Plains JC). He played recently at Florida TNT (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. Brangers missed last season and had a year break from professional basketball. In 2019 Brangers was drafted by Santa Cruz Warriors (G-League) in the second round (15th overall). He spent the 2018/2019 season with Eisbaeren Bremerhaven in German Bundesliga. in 10 games with the team, he averaged 12.7ppg, 1.9rpg, 1.7apg. He attended South Plains College (JUCO) until 2018 and it will be his second season in pro basketball. Among many awards, Brangers won NJCAA D1 championship title in 2018. He received also All-WJCAC 1st Team award in 2018 at his college time and was named JUCO ranked the top junior college player in the nation in 2018. By Eurobasket Data Center |
