Avalos comes back to Libertadores

Libertadores de Queretaro (LNBP) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old Mexican international forward Irwin Avalos (201-93kg-91, college: DBU). It is actually his comeback to Queretaro as he has played here before. Avalos has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. Avalos played in the summer at Mantarrayas de La Paz (CIBACOPA). LNBP will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. The last season Avalos played at Libertadores where in 36 LNBP games he recorded 10.0ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.4apg.
Avalos also represented Mexico at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla (Colombia) two years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 3.8ppg, 2.3rpg.
Avalos has played previously professionally also in Argentina (San Martin Corrientes) and Mexico (Fuerza Regia, Fuerza Guinda Nogales, Santos, Manzaneros and Vaqueros).
He attended Dallas Baptist University until 2012 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
