Aaguacateros land Cristian Cortes

Aaguacateros Michoacan (LNBP) tabbed 29-year old naturalized Argentinian guard Cristian Cortes (185-90, agency: Best of You Sports). He has played for the last four years at Fuerza Regia in the LNBP. In only one Liga Americas game he had very impressive stats: 21 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals last season. Cortes also played 45 games in LNBP where he averaged just 2.9ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.3apg. He helped them to make it to the final.
He was a member of Argentinian U19 National Team back in 2009.
Cortes has played also professionally in Brazil (Mogi) and Argentina (Obras, Lanus, Argentino, Quimsa and Estudiantes Concordia) and Mexico (Halcones Rojos and Abejas).
Cortes won Mexican LNBP championship title in 2019.
