Gonzalez comes back to Libertadores

Libertadores de Queretaro (LNBP) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 34-year old international forward Jesus Gonzalez (195-86). It is actually his comeback to Queretaro as he has played here before. Gonzalez played in the summer at Mantarrayas de La Paz (CIBACOPA). In 5 games he recorded 9.0ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.2apg. LNBP will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. The last season Gonzalez played at Dorados where in 35 LNBP games he averaged 5.5ppg and 1.6rpg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in LNBP East Division.
He also represented Mexico at the COCABA Championships in San Jose (Costa Rica) five years ago. Gonzalez's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 16.4ppg, 5.0rpg, 3.2apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 50.0%, 3PT: 41.4%, FT: 66.7%.
Gonzalez has spent his entire career in Mexico playing for eight other teams: Halcones Rojos, Halcones UV Xalapa, Santos, Manzaneros, Caballeros de Culiacan, Angeles, Huracanes and Garra Canera de Navolato.
Gonzalez was selected to Mexican CIBACOPA All-Star Game back in 2017.
