Libertadores tab Coron Williams, ex St.John's E.

Libertadores de Queretaro (LNBP) inked 30-year old American point guard Coron Williams (185-79kg-89, college: Wake Forest). He played most recently at St. John's Edge in Canadian NBL. In 10 NBLCanada games he averaged 10.4ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.7apg last season. Williams helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in NBL Canada Atlantic Division. He also played for Dorados (Mexican LNBP) where in 38 games he had 11.7ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.5apg. Williams contributed to his team ending the regular season as at the second position in LNBP East Division.
He is a very experienced player. Williams has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Williams has played previously professionally in Argentina (La Union), Italy (Treviso), NBA G League (Maine Red Claws and Greensboro Swarm) and The Basketball Tournament (Wake the Nation).
He attended Wake Forest University until 2014 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
Williams' game is described as: A shooter in the purest sense. Can score points in bunches thanks to an accurate outside shot.
