Correcaminos ink Juan Guerrero, ex GUG

Correcaminos UAT Victoria (LNBP) agreed terms with 27-year old Dominican forward Juan Guerrero (201-100kg-93). He played this summer at Gregorio Urbano Gilbert in Santiago League in Dominican Republic. In 15 games he had very impressive stats: 25.2ppg, 10.9rpg, 2.2apg and 1.5bpg. He was also named League Player of the Week (2 times).
Guerrero represented Dominican Republic at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla (Colombia) two years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 8.6ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.2spg, FGP: 51.4%, 3PT: 25.0%, FT: 66.7%.
Guerrero is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Chile (Universidad de Concepcion), Uruguay (Cordon and Penarol), Venezuela (Toros) and Dominican Republic (Sameji, Parque Hostos, San Sebastian, Leones de Santo Domingo and El Million).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Guerrero won Uruguay Metropolitan League championship title in 2019. He was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic Forward of the Year in 2019.
Guerrero could be described: It has a good touch of shot, and good subsequent movements. A very coordinated forward, able to play in positions 4 and 3 can also defend the players of the position 5, strong player and very good shooter with a good range.
