Fuerza Regia welcomes back Anderson

Jerime Anderson

Fuerza Regia Monterrey (LNBP) inked 30-year old American point guard Jerime Anderson (187-89, college: UCLA, agency: Best of You Sports). It is actually his comeback to Fuerza Regia as he has played here before. Anderson played in the summer at Jalisco (CIBACOPA). In only one game he had 7 points, 4 rebounds and 21 assists. LNBP will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. The last season Anderson played at Fuerza Regia where in 54 LNBP games he averaged 9.7ppg, 2.6rpg, 4.5apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the final. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Mexican LNPB All-Star Game.
He is a very experienced player. Anderson has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Anderson has played previously professionally also in Belgium (Spirou Charleroi, Okapi Aalst, Liege Basket and Limburg United), Morocco (AS Sale), Slovenia (Krka) and Mexico (Toros and Mineros).
Anderson's team won Morocco Throne Cup in 2014.
He attended University of California at Los Angeles until 2012 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
Anderson's game is described as: "Lengthy and still growing, Anderson is a pure point guard with upside. He can score the ball off the dribble or the catch, but has a pass first mentality. Defensively, he is a tough 94-foot on the ball defender. His game should only improve as he gets stronger.Great-looking young point with exceptional feel and very good skill level. Shoots it to three-point range well and has nice mid-range game. Excellent decision-maker. True point who understands the game.".
