Meyinsse re-signs at Aaguacateros

Aaguacateros Michoacan (LNBP) confirmed in their roster 31-year old American center Jerome Meyinsse (207-104kg-88, college: Virginia). He played there last season. In 46 LNBP games he had 13.9ppg, 7.5rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2bpg. Meyinsse helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP Honorable Mention, All-Star Game and League Player of the Week. He also spent pre-season at San Lorenzo (La Liga) in Argentinian league.
Meyinsse has played also professionally in Brazil (Flamengo), Venezuela (Trotamundos) and Argentina (Atenas, Regatas Corrientes, Sionista and Sportivo 9 de Julio Rio Tercero).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Meyinsse won Argentinian La Liga championship title in 2019. He was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian LigaA Center of the Year in 2018.
He attended University of Virginia until 2010 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player.
