JayVaughn Pinkston (ex KTP Basket) is a newcomer at Soles

Soles de Mexicali (LNBP) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American forward JayVaughn Pinkston (201-109kg-91, college: Villanova). He played most recently at KTP Basket in Finnish Korisliiga. In 35 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.4ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.5apg and 1.4spg last season. Good year as he was selected League Player of the Week.
The most of previous (2018-19) season Pinkston spent at Kolossos (Greek A1) in Greek league where in 21 games he averaged 11.7ppg and 4.6rpg. Pinkston also spent pre-season at Hapoel Holon (Winner League) in Israeli league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Thanks to Pinkston's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Pinkston has played previously professionally in Italy, Poland (Miasto Szkla) and Dominican Republic (Metros de Santiago).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Pinkston's college team won Big East Tournament in 2015. He received also All-Big East Honorable Mention award back in 2015.
He attended Villanova University until 2015 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
