Plateros sign Dior Lowhorn, ex Pelita Jaya

Plateros de Fresnillo (LNBP) signed 33-year old American forward Dior Lowhorn (201-104kg-87, college: USF). He played this summer at Pelita Jaya in the Indonesian IBL league. In 12 games he had very impressive stats: 28.3ppg, 13.6rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.2bpg. He was also named League Player of the Week (9 times).

Lowhorn is quite an experienced player. He has played in fourteen different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, and of course North America). Lowhorn has played previously professionally in Argentina (La Union), Belgium, Japan, Morocco, Philippines (North Port and Rain or Shine), Singapore (Singapore Slingers), Slovakia, Tunisia (ES Sahel), Ukraine, Venezuela (Gaiteros), Czech Republic (Levice), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors) and Vietnam (Saigon Heat).

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Lowhorn played in the final of Indonesian IBL in 2019. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Indonesian IBL 1st Team between 2018 and 2019.

He attended the University of San Francisco until 2010 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player.

Lowhorn could be described: Very talented forward who can score rebound and play defense.
