Anosike is back at Fuerza Regia

O.D. Anosike

Fuerza Regia Monterrey (LNBP) signed 29-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) power forward O.D. Anosike (203-109kg-91, college: Siena). It is actually his comeback to Fuerza Regia as he has played here before. Anosike played last season at KCC Egis in South Korean KBL league. In only one game he recorded very impressive stats: 18 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Anosike also played for Fuerza Regia (Mexican LNBP) where in 48 games he had 12.4ppg, 8.0rpg (#5 in the league) and 1.8apg. Anosike helped them to make it to the final.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
Anosike is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Anosike has played previously professionally in France (SIG Strasbourg and Le Portel), Greece (AEK Athens), Italy (Openjobmetis VA), Spain (Real Betis) and The Basketball Tournament (Saints Alive).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Anosike's team won French ProA Regular Season in 2014. He was also voted NABC Division I All-District 1 1st Team between 2012 and 2013 at his college time.
He attended Siena College until 2013 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
Anosike could be described: Tremendous rebounder...Possesses high basketball IQ and great hands... Exceptional vision for a big man...Solid low post moves...Long and rangy. Consistent and powerful finisher...Good at facing up and taking defender off the dribble.
