There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in LNBP. There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with change at the leadership position and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

There was a change at the LNBP leadership position after last games. Round 18 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Aaguacateros (13-5). They were edged by sixth ranked Abejas (5-13) 86-83 on Saturday night. 28 personal fouls committed by Aaguacateros helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American Terrell Carter-II (208-95, college: Fresno St., agency: Haylett Sports) had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American-Dominican forward Angel Nunez (203-91, college: S.Florida) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American center Jerome Meyinsse (208-88, college: Virginia) with 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Aaguacateros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Abejas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Panteras. Aaguacateros at the other side still keep top position with five games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Mineros who have the same record. Aaguacateros will play next round against strong Libertadores trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Abejas will try to continue on its current victory against first ranked Soles in Mexicali.
Fourth-ranked Astros (8-10) gave a tough game to second ranked Soles (13-5) in Guadalajara. The visitors from Mexicali managed to secure only one-point victory 85-84. However their fans expected easier game. International guard Jose-David Estrada (190-94, agency: Pro Sports) notched 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Erik Thomas supported him with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Even 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by the former international center Gustavo Ayon (207-85, college: SJSU) did not help to save the game for Astros. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Soles have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Aaguacateros. Astros lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with ten games lost. Soles will play against Abejas (#5) in Guanajuato in the next round. Astros will play on the road against Panteras in Aguascalientes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Fuerza Regia (9-7) against fifth ranked Plateros (6-10) on Saturday night. Host Fuerza Regia was defeated by Plateros in a tough game in Monterrey 74-81. Soles' next round opponent will be Abejas (#5) in Guanajuato. Astros will play on the road against Panteras in Aguascalientes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
