Ricks' double-double lands him LBE Player of the Week award- March 30, 2021
He had a double-double of 29 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Toros (#3, 5-3) 103-93. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Thanks to this victory Soles moved-up to the 4th position in Mexican LBE. Soles is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-4 record. In the team's last game Ricks had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He just recently signed at Soles, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Drake University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ricks is in league's top in points (2nd best: 23.3ppg), assists (3rd best: 5.8apg) and averages solid 56.4% FGP and 40.3% from behind 3-point line. Second best performed player last round was Ramon Galloway (190-SG-91) of top-ranked Dorados. He is American guard in his first season at Dorados. In the last game Galloway recorded impressive 37 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led Dorados to another comfortable win outscoring NCG Potros (1-7) 125-104. He plays for the best team in the league and Dorados managed to win all 8 games keeping a perfect record. Galloway is one of the most experienced players at Dorados and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.2ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 5.7rpg and 3.8apg. Third place about best performers goes to another Dorados' star - Durrell Summers (196-SF-89). Summers showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the last round. He was another key player of Dorados, helping his team with a 116-99 easy win against Indios (#6, 0-8). Dorados have amazing season winning all 8 games without a single defeat. Summers turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Summers has a great season in Mexico. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.8ppg (9th best). Other top performing players last week: 4.
