Fabian Jaimes
Former international Power forward Fabian Jaimes (198-PF-92) had a very impressive game in the last round for Soles and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LBE Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 28-year old power forward had a double-double of 22 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team beat NCG Potros (#6, 1-11) 112-105. Soles maintains the 3rd position in Mexican LBE. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Soles will need more victories to improve their 7-5 record. In the team's last game Jaimes had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Soles, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Jaimes has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 10.5rpg) and averages solid 62.4% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Soles' star - 29-year old American guard Gary Ricks (185-G-91). Ricks impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 33 points and 10 rebounds. Of course Soles cruised to a 112-105 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked NCG Potros (#6, 1-11). Soles' 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 7-5 record is not bad at all. Ricks is one of the most experienced players at Soles and similarly like Fabian Jaimes has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.8ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 5.7rpg and 5.7apg.
The third best performed player last round was American Durrell Summers (196-SF-89) of top-ranked Dorados. Summers scored 27 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Dorados, leading his team to a 113-90 easy win against the lower-ranked NCG Potros (#6, 1-11). Many experts and fans count Dorados as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 11 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Summers has a great season in Mexico. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.5ppg (5th best). He also has FGP: 60.7% and 3PT: 47.1%. Durrell Summers has also Mexican passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
