Soles earned the second straight win in the championship series. They beat Dorados to open 2-0 advantage in the Finals. The game was mostly controlled by Soles. Dorados managed to win fourth quarter 38-28. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Soles forced 19 Dorados turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Gary Ricks (185-91, college: Drake) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Naturalized American guard Karim Scott (196-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 assists for the winners. The former international Marco Ramos (198-87, college: GCU) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and international guard Jose David Estrada (190-94, agency: Pro Sports) added 21 points in the effort for Dorados. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
