Edgar Garibay joins Lenadores

Lenadores de Durango (LNBP) added to their roster 31-year old Mexican-American international forward Edgar Garibay (208cm-113kg-90, college: LBSU). Garibay played last summer at Dorados in the LBE. In two games he had 5.5ppg, 5.5rpg and 3.0apg.
He also represented Mexico at the Centrobasket in Panama City (Panama) five years ago. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 5 games: 0.4ppg.
Garibay has played previously professionally also in Venezuela (Guaiqueries) and Mexico (Aaguacateros, Fuerza Regia, Venados, Abejas and Rayos de Hermosillo). He won Mexican LBE championship title in 2021.
He was voted to Mexican LNPB All-Star Game in 2020.
Garibay attended Long Beach State University until 2014 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
On Garibay: Probably the best inside prospect of the West Coast, he possesses good athleticism and has a great frame. Also, he has a soft shooting touch out to 20 feet and a progressing post game. Needs of playing time to further develop, but he will become Div.1 material very soon.
