Young is back at Libertadores, ex Hurricanes

Libertadores de Queretaro (LNBP) signed 31-year old American power forward Anthony Young (200cm-113kg-89, college: KWC). It is actually his comeback to Libertadores as he has played here before. Young played last summer at Hurricanes in Colombian LPB league. In 6 games he had very impressive stats: 22.8ppg, 8.2rpg, 3.7apg, 1.0spg and 2.0bpg. The last season he played at Obera Tennis Club in Argentinian La Liga where in 18 games he was the best scorer with remarkable 20.2ppg and averaged 5.6rpg and 1.5apg. 2020-21 was a great season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (3 times).
He is quite experienced player. Young has played in nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally also in Germany (ETB Miners and BSV Wulfen), Panama (Halcones), Paraguay (Olimpia), Puerto Rico (Capitanes), Uruguay (Defensor, Larre Borges Montevideo, Bigua, Urunday and Montevideo BC), Venezuela (Gigantes), Argentina (Penarol and La Union), Dominican Republic (Huracanes) and Colombia (Bucaros).
Young attended Kentucky Wesleyan College until 2012 and it will be his eleventh season as a professional player.
