NBA Academy Latin America in Mexico City () inked 19-year old Brazilian 198cm small forward Augusto Cruz. It is actually his comeback to Mexico City as he has played here before. Cruz played last summer at Corinthians in Brazilian LDB U20. In four games he averaged 7.5ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.8bpg.
He represented Brazil at the South American Championships U17 in Santiago (Chile) two years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 4 games: 6.8ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.3spg, FGP: 66.7%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 33.3%.
