Dorados earned the second straight win in the LBE Finals. Strangely Vaqueros outrebounded Dorados 44-30 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international guard Jorge Gutierrez (191-1988, college: California) orchestrated the victory by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 4 steals (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) contributed with 29 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Dorados' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Marvin Phillips (201-1983, college: Claflin) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Xavier Gibson (210-1988, college: FSU) added 18 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Vaqueros. Four Vaqueros players scored in double figures.
