LMBPF is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 12 rounds left. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most important game of round 12 was a defeat of league's leader Lenadoras (3-7). They were defeated by top-ranked Regias (10-0) 82-68 on Sunday night. Regias dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Lenadoras' 36. Worth to mention a great performance of Anisleydy Galindo who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 rebounds and Cuban Yamara Amargo (179-1985) who added 26 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Kala Green (175-1996, college: NC A&T) with 26 points and 4 assists. Undefeated Regias have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-0 record having 2 victories less than leader Phoenix. Lenadoras at the other side still keep top place with seven games lost. They share the position with Algodoneras and Las Plebes. They were replaced at the leadership position by Phoenix. Lenadoras will play next round against league's leader Algodoneras trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Regias will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Teporacas on the road.
The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Algodoneras as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Algodoneras defeated 7th ranked Atleticas in Torreon 72-59. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The winners were led by American guard Brittany Byrd (175, college: UIC) who scored that evening 30 points and 7 rebounds and Chervelle Cox supported her with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Even 16 points and 5 rebounds by the former international guard Paola Estrada (172-1993, agency: DC Sports) did not help to save the game for Atleticas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Lenadoras and Las Plebes. Atleticas at the other side keep the seventh place with six games lost. They share the position with Quetzales. Atleticas will play next round against Racers trying to get back on the winning streak. Algodoneras will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Lenadoras on the road.
Leading Las Plebes (3-7) recorded its seventh loss at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Mexcaltecas (5-4) 71-63. The best player for the winners was Sofia Payan who scored 24 points. Mexcaltecas' coach Gerardo Guzman used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Jessica Fairweather who recorded 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Mexcaltecas maintains sixth position with 5-4 record. Las Plebes lost fourth consecutive game. They still keep top place with seven games lost. They share the position with Lenadoras and Algodoneras. Mexcaltecas will meet at home higher ranked Escaramuzas (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Las Plebes will play against Barreteras in Zacatecas and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 12: Barreteras destroyed Phoenix on the opponent's court 72-38. Winless Racers lost to defending champion Lobas in a home game 77-84. Mieleras rolled over Escaramuzas on the road 87-62.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 28 points and 7 rebounds by Destiny Campbell of Mieleras.
