Dorados claimed the LBE title winning the series 3-0. Dorados shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for the former international guard Jorge Gutierrez (191-1988, college: California) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. American-Dominican Antonio Pena (204-1986, college: Villanova) contributed with 28 points for the winners. Dorados' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Rayes Gallegos (188-1990, college: Nebraska) answered with 26 points and the other American import forward Marvin Phillips (201-1983, college: Claflin) added 22 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Vaqueros. Four Dorados and five Vaqueros players scored in double figures.
