Venados de Mazatlan (CIBACOPA) signed 32-year old American point guard Anthony Moody (182cm-73kg-1989, college: Mary). Moody moved there from Caballeros de Culiacan. In two CIBACOPA games in Mexico he had just 2.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.0apg last season. He also played for Empacadores (LBP). Moody helped them to make it to the Mexican LBP final.
In 2011 (2011 years after his graduation) he was drafted by Sioux Falls Skyforce (D-League) as #4 pick overall.
The former University of Mary (NCAA Div.II) star is in his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Moody has played in five different countries on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Canada (Rainmen), Georgia, Vietnam (Buffaloes) and OBA (Indiana Unlimited).
