Defending champion Rayos de Hermosillo (CIBACOPA) landed 26-year old American 193cm guard Tarkus Ferguson (college: UIC). He moved there from Salt Lake City Stars (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 6 games he averaged 5.5ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.7apg and 1.2spg last season. Ferguson also played for Skyforce in U.S. NBA-G-League where in 16 NBA G League games he had 7.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.3apg. He also spent pre-season at UBSC Graz in Austrian BSL. But in four NBA G League games he recorded just 1.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.3apg.
Ferguson graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2020 and it is his second season in pro basketball.
