Plateras de Fresnillo (LNBPF) signed American guard Lashonda Monk (168cm, agency: Green Sports Management). Monk just graduated from Ole Miss (NCAA). In 32 games she had 9.3ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.9apg and 2.0spg last season. She helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Monk started her college career at East Carolina University (NCAA) where she played four seasons. Her high school career she had spent at Southwest Guilford in High Point, NC.
As mentioned above she is just out of college, so it will be her first season as a professional player.
