Abejas sign Tyrone White

Abejas de Leon (LNBP) signed 31-year old American guard Tyrone White (201cm-84kg-1990, college: CSUB). White played last summer at Caballeros de Culiacan in Mexican CIBACOPA. He managed to play in four leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 20 CIBACOPA games he had very impressive stats: 16.4ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.3apg and 1.0spg. LNBP will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. White helped them to win the league title. He also played for Dorados (LBE) where in 10 games he recorded 7.7ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.3apg.
In 2014 (a year after his graduation) he was drafted by Rio Grande Valley Vipers (D-League) in third round (50th overall).
The former California State University Bakersfield standout is in his eleventh season in pro basketball.
White is quite experienced player. He has played in nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). White has played previously professionally in Argentina (Platense), Cyprus, Kosovo (Peja), Poland, Uruguay (Trouville), Venezuela (Marinos and Bucaneros), Mexico (Aaguacateros, Fuerza Regia, Halcones UV Xalapa, Soles and Garra Canera de Navolato), Dominican Republic (Indios) and IBL (Salem S.).
