NBA-Academy-Latin-America-in-Mexico-City () inked 18-year old Brazilian 196cm small forward Samis Calderon. Calderon started the season at Corinthians in Brazilian NBB league. But in only one game he did not score anything.
He represented Brazil at the FIBA U18 Americas Championship in Tijuana (Mexico) last year. Calderon's team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 6.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.8apg, FGP: 31.0%, 3PT: 22.2%, FT: 57.1%.
