LNBPF 2023 - Abejas sign a second import player, ex Trepca

Abejas de Leon (LNBPF) inked 26-year old American 170cm guard Ta'Sharra Jeffries (college: ABU) for upcoming season. Jeffries is the second import player in the roster as Venezuelan Waleska Perez signed here earlier.
She played most recently at Trepca in Kosovan Superliga. In 21 games she was the best scorer with impressive 37.1ppg and recorded 7.4rpg, 4.0apg and 6.4spg (leader !!!) last season. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very good season in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Kosovo League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (4 times).
She has played previously professionally in USA and WUBA (Oakland Warriors).
Among many awards she was selected Usbasket.com All-WUBA Rookie of the Year in 2021.
Worth to mention she played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped her to get the job in pro basketball.
Jeffries graduated from Alderson Broaddus University in 2020 and it will be her third season in pro basketball.
