LNBPF 2023 - Astros sign a second USA player, ex Nesibe

Astros de Jalisco (LNBPF) landed 26-year old American 188cm forward Chelsea Nelson (college: NC State) for new season. Nelson joins another USA player Jaelyn Brown who is already in the roster.
She played recently at Nesibe in Turkish KBSL. In 26 games she averaged 14.5ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.8apg and 1.7spg last season. She also played 1 game in Eurocup where she had very impressive stats: 25 points, 10 rebounds and 1 assist.
She has played also professionally in Hungary (PEAC-Pecs), Israel (Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion) and Spain (Zamarat). Nelson was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Honorable Mention in 2020 and 2021.
Her team made it to the Hungarian League Semifinals in 2022.
She graduated from North Carolina State University in 2018 and it is her fifth season in pro basketball.
