LNBPF 2023 - Fuerza Regia signs Aquira Decosta, ex Alvik Basket

Aquira Decosta

Fuerza Regia Femenil (LNBPF) signed 23-year old American forward Aquira Decosta (185cm-2000, college: Sacramento State) for upcoming 2023 season. Decosta just played at Alvik Basket in Swedish Damligan. In 15 games she had very impressive stats: 23.7ppg, 16.7rpg, 2.9spg and 1.2bpg last season. Good year as she was named League Player of the Week (3 times).
She represented USA at the World Championships U17 in Zaragoza (Spain) seven years ago. Her team won Bronze and her stats at that event were 7 games: 6.6ppg, Reb-4 (10.1rpg), 1.4spg, Blocks-4 (2.0bpg), FGP: 32.1%, FT: 71.4%.
Decosta graduated from Sacramento State in 2022 and it is her first season as a professional player. She played also for Loyola Marymount University for one year.
