Libertadores de Queretaro (LNBPF) added to their roster experienced 35-year old American point guard Britney Jones (174cm-1987, college: UAB) for new 2023 season. Jones just played at Sf.Gheorghe in Romanian Liga Nationala. She managed to play in three leagues last year. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and she had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In two Liga Nationala games she recorded 12.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.0bpg. Jones also played 10 games in Eurocup where she averaged 12.5ppg, 2.3rpg, 5.3apg and 1.4spg. And finally she contributed to 27 games in Liga Nationala where she got 9.1ppg, 1.9rpg, 4.3apg and 1.9spg. She helped them to win the League title and the cup. A very impressive season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention.
Jones is quite experienced player. Her career allowed her to visit three different continents, while she played in twelve different countries. She tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. Jones has played previously professionally in Belarus (BC Minsk), Belgium (Namur and Castors Braine), Greece (FEA Neas), Iceland (Fjolnir), Israel (Elitzur Holon and Hapoel Petah Tikva), Poland (Wroclaw), Puerto Rico (Montaneras), Russia (UMMC Yekaterinburg and Chevakata), Switzerland (Fribourg), Romania (Targoviste and Brasov), WNBA (Chicago Sky) and El Salvador (Santa Tecla Elite).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Import Player of the Year in 2021.
She graduated from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2009 and it is her 14th (!!!) season as a professional player.
