LNBPF 2023 - Akilah Bethel (ex Urla) signs at Rojas

Rojas (LNBPF) landed 30-year old American 183cm forward Akilah Bethel (college: LSU). Bethel moved there from Urla in Turkish TKBL. In 5 games she averaged impressive 19.4ppg, 10.8rpg, 2.8apg and 2.2spg last season.
She is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in six different countries playing on four different continents. Bethel is familiar with European, Latin American, Australian and of course North American leagues. She has played previously professionally in Australia (Power and Capitals), Luxembourg (Musel Pikes and Sparta), Puerto Rico (Gigantes, Atenienses, Cangrejeras and Cidra), Ukraine (Dynamo-NPU Kyiv), Czech Republic (Loko Trutnov) and Mexico (Mieleras and Panteras). Her team made it to the Puerto Rican BSNF Semifinals in 2018, 2021 and 2022. Bethel was voted to Puerto Rican BSNF All-Star Game in 2018 and 2021.
She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2016 and it will be her seventh season in pro basketball. Bethel played also for West Virginia University for 2 years.
