LNBPF 2023 - Halcones sign Brianna Jones, ex Santurce

Halcones de Xalapa (LNBPF) signed 26-year old American (has also Puerto Rican passport) guard Brianna Jones (177cm-1997, college: Georgetown). Jones played last summer at Cangrejeras de Santurce in Puerto Rican BSNF. In 19 games she had 14.2ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.2apg and 1.2spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. The last season she played at BasCats USC Heidelberg in German DBBL. But in only one game she did not score anything.
Jones also represented Puerto Rico at the FIBA Centrobasket Women's Championship in Mexico last year. Her team won Gold and her stats at that event were 5 games: 9.6ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.2apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 45.8%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 55.6%.
She is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
Jones graduated from Georgetown University in 2020 and it will be her fourth season as a professional player. She played also for University of Louisville for 2 years.
