LNBPF 2023 - Halcones ink Quinn Urbaniak-Dornstauder

Halcones de Xalapa (LNBPF) signed 27-year old Canadian international center Quinn Urbaniak-Dornstauder (193cm-1995, college: Arizona State). Urbaniak-Dornstauder moved there from MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec in Polish EBLK. In 27 games she had 13.8ppg, 9.9rpg (#4 in the league), 2.0apg and 1.0bpg last season. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. 2022-23 was a great season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Polish EBLK Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. The last season she played at Mithra Castors Braine in Belgian Top Division Women where in 24 games she recorded 10.3ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.2apg. Urbaniak-Dornstauder contributed to her team winning the regular season and make it to the final. Good year as she was also here named League Player of the Week. She also played 10 games in Eurocup where she averaged 12.1ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.9apg and 1.2spg.
Urbaniak-Dornstauder has been also a member of Canadian international program for some years. She has regularly played for Canadian senior team since 2014 and previously for University National Team back in 2015.
Urbaniak-Dornstauder represented Canada at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) eight years ago. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 6 games: 9.5ppg, 6.8rpg, FGP: 56.8%, FT: 53.8%.
She has played also professionally in Spain (Cadi La Seu, Zamarat, Casablanca and Bembibre).
Urbaniak-Dornstauder graduated from Arizona State in 2017 and it is her sixth season as a professional player.
