LNBPF 2023 - Joy Adams comes back to Astros, ex IDK Eustotren

Astros de Jalisco (LNBPF) inked 29-year old American 180cm forward Joy Adams (college: Iona). It is actually her comeback to Jalisco as she has played here before. Adams moved there from IDK Eustotren in Spanish LF Endesa. In 29 games she recorded 10.1ppg, 7.4rpg, 3.2apg and 1.6spg last season. Good year as she was voted League Player of the Week. She also played 4 games in Eurocup where she averaged 14.8ppg, 10.5rpg, 3.3apg and 2.0spg. The last summer she played at Astros in Mexican LNBPF. In 21 games she had 10.8ppg, 7.6rpg, 3.7apg and 2.4spg (in top 2). Adams helped them to win the Mexican LNBPF title. Good season as she was also here selected League Player of the Week.
She has played also professionally for other Spanish teams like Valencia, Al-Qazeres, Oviedo and Araski. Adams was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LFB Honorable Mention in 2018 and 2021.
She graduated from Iona College in 2016 and it is her seventh season in pro basketball.
