LNBPF 2023 - Correcaminos ink Sarah Mgbeike, ex Prishtina

Correcaminos (LNBPF) signed American forward Sarah Mgbeike (185cm, college: OLLU). Mgbeike moved there from KBF Prishtina in Kosovan Superliga. In 23 games she was the best scorer with impressive 16.5ppg and averaged 10.3rpg (leader !!!), 3.0apg, 1.4spg and 1.3bpg last season. She helped them to make it to the Kosovo League final after they ended regular season as second best team. 2022-23 was a great season as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Kosovo League Forward of the Year and League Player of the Week. Mgbeike also played 12 games in Liga Unike where she had very remarkable stats: 20.8ppg, 12.4rpg, 3.7apg, 2.3spg and 1.9bpg. She contributed to her team making it to the semifinals. 2022-23 was a great season as she was selected Eurobasket.com All-Liga Unike Defensive Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Forward of the Year. The last summer she played at Orthodox in Jordanian D1. In two games she recorded high stats: 18.5ppg, 14.0rpg, 1.5apg, 2.5spg and 2.0bpg.

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she won Liga Unike championship title in 2022. She was voted Eurobasket.com All-Kosovo League Player of the Year in 2021.
Mgbeike graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2020 and it is her third season as a professional player. She played also for San Diego Mesa College for 2 years.
