Astros had a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Jordan Loveridge (198-1993, college: Utah) fired 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Lagerald Vick (196-1997, college: Kansas) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Markel Crawford (196-1994, college: Ole Miss) produced 28 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and point guard Roddy Peters (193-1995, college: Nicholls St.) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists (made all of his eight free throws) respectively for lost side. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) nailed a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and guard Terrence Drisdom (196-1992, college: CPP) accounted for 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 22 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Jacob Young (188-1997, college: Oregon, agency: MSG) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Halcones de Ciudad Obregon in the defeat. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.

Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Venados' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
