Tijuana - Mazatlan 87-82

Tijuana Zonkeys dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Venados' 22. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was Anthony Young (200-1989, college: KWC) who scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Joshua Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jeff Ledbetter (191-1988, college: Idaho, agency: Slash Sports) who recorded 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Alex Kaye Williams (203-1993) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Five Tijuana Zonkeys and four Venados players scored in double figures. Venados' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.

Rayos de Hermosillo outrebounded Halcones de Ciudad Obregon 49-37 including 37 on the defensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) who led his team to a victory scoring 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Guard Terrence Drisdom (196-1992, college: CPP) helped adding 12 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and guard Jimmy Whitt (190-1997, college: Arkansas, agency: Interperformances) scored 22 points and 5 assists. Five Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures.

Astros made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. It was an exceptional evening for Lagerald Vick (196-1997, college: Kansas) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Isaiah Whaley (203-1998, college: UConn) accounted for 21 points and 11 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winning side. Astros' coach Ariel Rearte allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Power forward Anthony Smith (201-1997, college: Murray St.) came up with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Roddy Peters (193-1995, college: Nicholls St.) added 16 points and 10 assists respectively for Ostioneros de Guaymas in the defeat. Five Ostioneros de Guaymas players scored in double figures.
