Fuerza Regia Monterrey (LNBP) added to their roster experienced 34-year old American power forward Jerai Grant (203cm-100kg-1989, college: Clemson, agency: Octagon Europe) for season 2023-24. Grant played last season at Wolves in Lithuanian LKL league. He managed to play in five leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In four LKL games he recorded 11.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.0apg and 1.3spg. Grant also played for Budivelnyk in Ukrainian league that season. The team played in four different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 14 FIBA Europe Cup games he averaged 13.1ppg, 7.6rpg (#4 in the league) and 1.5apg. He helped them to make it to the quarterfinals. Quite impressive season as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-FIBA Europe Cup Second Team. Grant also played 6 games in Balkan League where he had 9.7ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.0apg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. He also played 2 games in Basketball Champions League where he got 4.0ppg and 3.5rpg. And finally he played 7 games in European North Basketball League where he got remarkable 15.6ppg, 7.3rpg and 1.0apg. It was another spectacular season as he was selected Eurobasket.com All-European North Basketball League Center of the Year and League Player of the Week. Grant has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012. He is quite experienced player. Grant's career allowed him to visit five different continents, while he played in ten different countries. Grant tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Australia (Kings), Bahrain (Al-Manama), France (SIG Strasbourg), Greece (AEK Athens and Promitheas), Israel (Hapoel Holon and Next Urban Maccabi Haifa), Italy (Brindisi and Ravenna), Latvia (Ventspils), Venezuela (Trotamundos) and The Basketball Tournament (Power of the Paw).
