Plateros welcome back Wilson

Plateros de Fresnillo (LNBP) landed 32-year old American 201cm forward Jamil Wilson (college: Marquette) for new season. It is actually his comeback to Plateros as he has played here before. Wilson played most recently at Boeheim's Army (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Wilson is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eleven different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Wilson has played previously professionally in Germany (Brose Bamberg), Israel (Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Effie Capital Rishon Le-Zion), Italy (RO Virtus, Virtus Segafredo Bologna and Torino), Lithuania (Prienai), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros, Leones, Cangrejeros and Piratas), Russia (UNICS Kazan), Venezuela (Guaros), NBA (LA Clippers), Uruguay (Nacional), NBA G League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Ontario Clippers) and The Basketball Tournament (Golden Eagles). His team won Venezuelan SPB Western Conference Regular Season in 2023. He voted toAll-Racine County Player of the Year back in 2008 and 2009.
Wilson graduated from Marquette University in 2014 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. He played also for University of Oregon for one year.
