Libertadores de Queretaro (LNBP) signed 25-year old American point guard Tyrik Armstrong (178cm-77kg-1998, college: Texas Southern, agency: MSG) for upcoming 2023-24 season. Armstrong joins another USA player Avry Holmes who is already in the roster.
He played last season at BKM Lucenec in Slovakian Nike SBL. In 23 games he had very impressive stats: 16.1ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.5apg (top 3) and 1.6spg. 2022-23 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian League Honorable Mention. He also played for Ohod in Saudi Arabian SBL where in three games he recorded also remarkable stats: 18.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 6.3apg and 1.0spg.
He has played also professionally in United Kingdom (Giants).
Armstrong played in the final of SWAC Tournament in 2019.
He graduated from Texas Southern University in 2020 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player. Armstrong played also for Weatherford College for 2 years.
