Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (10-3) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Angeles (8-5) 84-80. Angeles dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Rayos de Hermosillo's 30. 26 personal fouls committed by Hermosillo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Americans were the main players on the court. Swingman Will Yoakum (196-1998, college: Nova SE) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Jacobi Boykins (196-1995, college: La Tech) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Terrence Drisdom (196-1992, college: CPP) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Newly promoted Angeles maintains fourth position with 8-5 record. Hermosillo at the other side still keeps top place with three games lost. They share the position with Tijuana and Astros. Angeles will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hermosillo will play again at home against Angeles and is hoping to win this game.
Sixth-ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (6-7) gave a tough game to third ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (10-3). Tijuana Zonkeys managed to secure only two-point victory 96-94. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ostioneros de Guaymas. American swingman Cameron Mitchell (195-1992, college: IU Southeast) notched 29 points to lead the effort and Joshua Webster supported him with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 18 assists. Even 21 points and 6 rebounds by Canadian guard Jahvon Henry-Blair (193-1998, college: Georgetown) did not help to save the game for Guaymas. Tijuana keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Hermosillo and Astros. Guaymas at the other side keep the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Mazatlan. Tijuana will play against Guaymas (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Guaymas will have a break next round.
The game in Los Mochis was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (7-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (4-9). Halcones de Ciudad Obregon defeated Pioneros Los Mochis 86-75 on Tuesday. Tony Farmer fired 26 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Jordan Allen produced 23 points for lost side. Obregon maintains fifth position with 7-6 record. Los Mochis lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. Obregon will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Los Mochis will play against Obregon (#5) and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 10 bottom-ranked Frayles lost to Mazatlan on the opponent's court 92-97. Culiacan was outscored by Astros in a home game 73-93.



Mazatlan - Frayles 97-92

Rather expected game in Mazatlan where 10th ranked Frayles de Guasave (2-11) was defeated by seventh ranked Venados (6-7) 97-92 on Tuesday. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Guard Jeff Ledbetter (191-1988, college: Idaho, agency: Slash Sports) fired 22 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Center Alonzo Stafford (200-1993, college: CCC) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds. Five Venados players scored in double figures. Venados' coach Fernando Rivero used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard David Sloan (183-1999, college: ETSU) produced 26 points and 8 assists and power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) added 25 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Mazatlan moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Guaymas. Loser Frayles de Guasave stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. They share it with Culiacan. Mazatlan will meet at home bottom-ranked Frayles (#10) in the next round. Frayles will have a break next round.

They outrebounded Culiacan 43-29 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. British center Kavell Bigby-Williams (211-1995, college: LSU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Five Astros players scored in double figures.
