The game between Top Four teams took place in Hermosillo. 4th placed host Rayos de Hermosillo (12-6) lost to second ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (14-4) 82-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rayos de Hermosillo. Tijuana dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Rayos de Hermosillo's 34. They outrebounded Hermosillo 38-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. Tijuana looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Joshua Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners and Brazilian center Joao Franca (215-1998) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) responded with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Tijuana keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Astros. Hermosillo at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Tijuana is looking forward to face league's leader Astros in Guadalajara in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hermosillo will play at home against the league's leader Astros and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.

It was a key game for the top position in the league. British center Kavell Bigby-Williams (211-1995, college: LSU) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and Michael Bryson accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds. Astros' coach Jorge Elorduy felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Joshua Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) came up with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for Tijuana in the defeat. Astros have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-4 record, which they share with Tijuana. Astros will play against Hermosillo (#4) on the road in the next round. Tijuana will play again against the league's leader Astros and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Guaymas was also quite interesting. Third ranked Angeles (13-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (7-11). Angeles defeated Ostioneros de Guaymas 105-94 on Wednesday. DaQuan Bracey fired 24 points and 9 assists for the winners. Markel Crawford produced 39 points (!!!) and 7 assists for lost side. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Angeles. Newly promoted Angeles maintains third place with 13-5 record behind leader Astros. Guaymas lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Los Mochis. Angeles will meet at home Frayles (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Guaymas will play against Mazatlan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 13: Los Mochis won against Culiacan on the opponent's court 90-84. Frayles managed to outperform Obregon in a home game 109-101. Frayles recorded a loss to Angeles on the road 90-78. Mazatlan crushed Guaymas on its own court 92-71. Hermosillo beat Los Mochis in a road game 100-83. Obregon won against Culiacan at home 101-97.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 22 points and 10 rebounds by Nick Waddell of Culiacan.

Rather expected game when 10th ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (2-16) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (7-11) 90-84 on Wednesday. Los Mochis made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. American power forward Raphiael Putney (207-1990, college: UMass) fired a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import guard Nigel Hawkins (193, college: SF Austin) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Colombian forward Michael Jackson (192-1987) produced 22 points and 9 rebounds and American-Argentinian center Nick Waddell (200-1989, college: GVSU) added 18 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Culiacan players scored in double figures. Caballeros de Culiacan's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Los Mochis maintains seventh place with 7-11 record, which they share with Guaymas. Culiacan lost their sixth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost.
