Hermida's 19 points and 8 assists give her LNBPF Player of the Week award

26-year old Spanish guard Marta Hermida (180-G-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for Panteras de Aguascalientes and receives a Hoops Agents LNBPF Player of the Week award for round 2.
She had the game-high 19 points adding seven rebounds and eight assists for Panteras in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Freseras (#7, 1-3) with 32-point margin 95-63. Thanks to this victory Panteras moved-up to the 3rd position in Mexican league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Panteras will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Hermida had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Panteras, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Boise State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hermida is in league's top in points (9th best: 14.5ppg) and averages solid 2.8spg.

Second best performed player last round was Danielle Adams (185-C-1989) of top-ranked Adelitas de Chihuahua. She is American center in her first season at Adelitas. In the last game Adams recorded an impressive 32 points and 9 rebounds. Of course she led Adelitas to another comfortable win 85-70 over Santas (0-2) being unquestionably team leader. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Adams is one of the most experienced players at Adelitas and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.8ppg (#1). She also registered 7.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Panteras' star - center Kamila Borkowska (201-C-2002). Borkowska scored 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of Panteras de Aguascalientes, helping her team with a 95-63 easy win against Freseras (#7, 1-3). Panteras needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Borkowska has a great season in Mexico. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.5rpg (5th best).
